A concise reference for the terms ScopeHold uses across the app, docs, billing, and access surfaces.

- Access grant
- A direct permission that lets a specific member or agent reveal or resolve a specific secret.
- Agent Guidance
- Optional runtime instructions that help agents provision, inventory, resolve, and clean up ScopeHold-managed secrets safely.
- Agent Key
- The credential issued to a named agent when a short-lived provisioning prompt is redeemed.
- All Projects
- The workspace-wide view that shows resources across the selected workspace rather than a single selected project.
- Archive
- A non-destructive way to remove a secret from normal access while retaining historical context.
- Billing account
- The commercial container for plan, billing details, seats, workspace limits, and billing admins.
- Member
- A human with access inside a workspace or project. Use Member in the main app access surfaces.
- Provider
- A namespace for secrets from a specific external system or credential group.
- Reveal
- A human UI action that displays a secret value after the required access checks.
- Resolve
- An agent or runtime action that retrieves a directly granted secret through the API.
- ScopeHold CLI profile
- A named local CLI profile that stores one agent's ScopeHold access separately from other agents and projects on the same machine.
- User
- A billable human under a billing account. Use User for seats, plans, pricing, and billing.
